History

Today, Sonac Hides is member of the VION FOOD GROUP (www.vionfood.com) and responsible for selling the hides & skins directly off the slaughterhouses and rendering facilities.

  • 2011: opening of the Sonac Hides & Skins (UK) Ltd
  • 2006: opening of the international sales division in Usingen, 40 km north of Frankfurt/Main
  • 2005: expanding activities and starting to gear the Memmingen plant, 100 km west of Munich
  • 2004: starting to gear the Eching plant, 50 km north/east of Munich
  • 1992: beginning to sell bovine hides directly off German slaughterhouses
